Ratatouille Pizza: A Match Made In Heaven

The first thing I ever cooked for my darlin’ was pizza. The second? Ratatouille. And so, for our recent anniversary, I celebrated our union by making ratatouille pizza. Two wondrous foods, joined together in holy deliciousness, and the recipe is dead simple:

  1. Make ratatouille.
  2. Make or buy pizza dough.
  3. Stretch pizza dough and top with generous (slotted) spoonfuls of ratatouille.
  4. Bake.
  5. Feast.

The results are impressive and the flavors are intense, but the process of making ratatouille pizza is delightfully low-key. Ratatouille is just chopping and waiting. Pizza dough is just kneading and waiting. Put the wheels in motion early in the day and by the time evening rolls around, dinner will have practically made itself- and you’ll have fallen in love with ratatouille and pizza all over again.
